rad beer

we maintain the best beer list for 100 miles, and pride ourselves in having eclectic and diverse styles to ensure we have a beer for everyone. with rotating draft and canned options from our favorite breweries in southern california and beyond, our beer is as critical to having a rad time at the sqrl as our food is. they're literally made for each other.

we carry several seltzers, kombuchas, ciders, and wines but beer is our main jam.

executive chef -
joel pettersson

chef joel (a native of sweden) is classically trained at university in copenhagen, and has worked in restaurants in denmark, new york city, and los angeles. with experience at restaurant aquavit, battersby, dean & deluca, bottega louie, and true food kitchen and a passion for craft beer, chef joel is the perfect fit as our executive chef. 


chef met a local girl while he was a foreign exchange student in yucca valley in 2003, and after living and traveling together through europe and the states, they moved back to the area last year with their new daughter.
